Hospice Care focuses on compassionate care for individuals who because of a serious illness or condition make a choice to discontinue curative care and begin Palliative Care.

Palliative Care is care that addresses pain and symptom relief focusing on making sure the patient is comfortable at a time when the patient’s illness or condition is diagnosed as terminal. In some case, however, the patient’s disease does not have to be in the terminal stage but the patient requires palliative care.
