Become A Caregiver
Join our team of outstanding care professionals. The help you provide can make it possible for a senior to stay in the comfort of his or her home—or help accelerate the recovery of an individual of any age after a medical procedure or illness.
You will play a satisfying and essential role—often assisting adult children who need help caring for their parents. Many families are struggling to care of their parents, as well as manage their own children, careers, spiritual activities, and health issues. You will meet extraordinary people, engage in rewarding work, and make a difference in the lives of others.
You will assist with companionship and important home-helper services. Our non-medical, personal care services include grocery shopping, errands, transportation to medical appointments, meal preparation, caring for a pet, getting your loved one to medical appointments, and even light housekeeping. We also provide medication reminders, dressing, bathing, grooming and eating.
Quality Care Assurance
Our Caregivers are bonded, insured and supervised as part of our quality assurance standard of care for our clients. In addition, all Caregivers go through extensive background checks:
- Sex Offender
- Dept. of Public Safety
- Nurses Registry
- Pre-employment drug test
- Random drug testing, using a urine-based sample.
We require verification of all professional and personal references. The potential employee must by signature, commit to comply with outlined, policy and procedural expectations. If results of the initial background checks are clear and references are in good standing, applicant will proceed through the hiring process.
Lear Senior Care Services also mandates our trademarked Training Process, One-on-One Enrichment Training, Review of Caregiver’s Employee Manual, Care-giving Skills Video and Test, mastering all Policies and Procedures required by Lear Senior Care Services, and ending with the personal signature and acknowledgement of their commitment to Lear Senior Care Services.
